Haakana, Cole Riley Age 25, born 12/05/94 died unexpectedly on 12/07/19. He was the loving father of son, Braxton Riley; dearly loved by his parents, Rick and Carrie. Also survived by sisters, Callie (Blake), and Desiree Bazewicz (Scott); grandparents Gary and Cynthia Halvorson; and grandmother Bette Haakana; uncles Greg Halvorson (Jordan), John Haakana (Cherise), David Haakana Jr (Vicky); cousins, Jessica, Taylor, Logan, Ashley and Gilly; nephews, Pier and Rowan; niece Maci; the mother of his son, Aubree Steen; and numerous other family members and many friends. Proceeded in death by grandfather David Haakana, Sr. Cole was handsome, athletic and strong; but mostly remembered for his great big heart. He was a person who would give you the shirt off his back. He will always be remembered for his huge personality, his infectious smile, and memorable laugh. He loved the outdoors and spent his life enjoying Lake Minnetonka with family and friends, he was especially fond of his many secret fishing spots. He loved his special hunting trips to Wyoming with his grandfather and uncle. He loved his son Braxton dearly who gave him great joy. Cole was a beautiful soul and loved by all. Visitation will be Thursday evening 12/12/19 from 5pm– 8pm, and Friday 12/13/19 from 1pm-2pm, followed by a service at 2pm both at Huber Funeral Home, 520 2nd Street, Excelsior.
